Oakwalk

Hired for phase one of transforming Oakwalk into a mixed-use development, VEC lifted, moved, shored, laid new foundations and seismic retrofitted six historic structures.

On a daily basis, Van Every Construction’s owner was on site to manage issues, ensure worker safety, and to oversee timely completion of the project. This dedication to efficiency resulted in the completion of five, six-inch concrete caps in one workday, mitigating the potential effects of inclement weather while saving considerable time and money.

Attention to Detail

An owner is on the job site daily for progress reviews, problem solving when needed, and clear and timely communications with prime and/or sub contractors.  Customer satisfaction is our first priority.

Comprehensive Planning Process

From blue print to build out, an owner and our construction supervisor are engaged in the project.  We visit every site prior to bid to conceptualize stages of mobilization and assess for safety issues.  Our assessment process is ongoing and involves every employee on site, allowing us to anticipate needs and potential roadblocks.

Safety First

Our employees are trained to check and correct for safety issues every day throughout the day.  Regular “tailgate meetings” serve to review job specific safety issues as well as general safety reminders. Due to our diligence and commitment to safety, Van Every Construction maintains an outstanding, 35-year record of safety.
